Winter Project Weeks
In addition to the excellent local ski region, you will also find that the Sport Region has numerous cultural and sporting activities to offer and you will be enthralled by its countryside and its people.
In addition to games and plenty of fun in the snow, you will also get to experience nature in winter first hand, walk along snow-covered trails and enjoy the many cultural facets of the region.

Your Winter Project Week could look something like this:
Monday to Friday 5-day programme of activities, 4 nights stay |

Monday:
• Arrival by midday with a communal dinner in the castle
• p.m. - Get to know the surroundings, ice skating, tobogganing,
sliding, ...
|
| Tuesday:
• Walk through the winter countryside "in search of wild animal
tracks" with a local farmer
• Winter work with timber - build a lumberjack hut just as they
did in the olden days
• Cooking sausages on a camp fire |
Wednesday:
• Trip to Bad Aussee to see how Austrian gingerbread is made
• Relax in the salt-water indoor pool at Bad Aussee
• Lanterns will light your way on a winter walk at dusk |
| Thursday:
• Get to know the traditional handcraft of making felt, with a
modern twist
• Afternoon at your leisure for ice skating, tobogganing,
sliding, cross-country skiing, walking a.s.o
• Farewell disco evening with fun and music |
Friday:
• Visit Admont Abbey
• You will receive a packed-lunch for your journey home
